For me this was a quick read. Megan seemed to jump right in to a romance with Katch, even though she was telling her grandfather that she didn’t want to go out on the date. There was real lead up to the romance. I felt a lot of things was let out of the story. Such as Katch gave her a check for her pottery. I never read where she even looked at it. Was it for the exact amount he claimed he was going to give her? Was it more? Why didn’t she offer what the amount was to her grandfather to help with the park? Though the story Katch is like a light switch. Holding, making out, and then just runs off, pushes Megan away. There was no real reason stated on why he did this. There was no talk of the wedding until after the fact. It would had been nice to know what it was like. She did get a showing of her pottery work. So, does she stay in NY or does she go back home to her hometown? There is also no more talk of the park and how it is doing after it is sold to katch. For me there are too many open roads to look at. I feel it needed to be tied up a little more.
Cliff notes
Katch comes to town. He is after the amusement park Megan grandfather owns. He sees Megan before he speaks to her grandfather at the store. When she returns home, she learned he will be stopping by. She goes out on a date with him the same day. Later in the date they all but hop in bed together. After a handful times of on again off again they get married. The park is sold to katch the same day he proposes to her.
